McKenzie Fedewa

LLPC

I use a person-centered approach in my practice where you are met with empathy, acceptance, and authenticity and have experience working with individuals from across the lifespan.

As your counselor, we will work together to co-create an open and safe space to explore your lived experience in its entirety – the good, the bad, and everything in between. I believe in the relevance of both your inner and outer worlds and how they relate with one another. My practices are culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and developmentally focused. Your experience will be understood from wholeness perspective, where your physical, spiritual, social, and occupational needs are respected and considered.
I use empirically based cognitive behavioral approaches. I often provide educational resources to clients so they may become informed and empowered agents of their own change.

I have received training in racial trauma, mandated reporting, and human trafficking. I am committed to continuing education and training to further my professional development and am under the supervision of Candace Johnson-Mason, MA, LPC-S, NCC.
