My name is Kenzie and I am a licensed mental health therapist. I specialize in working with athletes and individuals who struggle with anxiety and/or depression.
As a mental health therapist, I have substantial experience helping individuals who struggle with anxiety in their daily lives. From social anxiety to panic disorders, I work collaboratively with my clients to help them understand the root of their anxiety and develop effective coping mechanisms.
I have also worked extensively with clients who struggle with depressive symptoms, including suicidal thoughts and self-harm behaviors. I approach this work with empathy and compassion, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
I use evidence-based treatments such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as mindfulness and relaxation techniques, to help clients manage their emotions and develop healthy coping mechanisms. My ultimate goal is to support clients in achieving emotional stability and helping them to lead fulfilled lives.
In addition to working with client experiencing anxiety and/or depression, I have helped numerous athletes overcome performance anxiety, stress, and self-doubt to reach their full potential. As a former athlete myself, I understand the unique mental and emotional challenges that come with being a high-performance athlete. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and visualization exercises to help my clients develop mental resilience and cope with the pressures of competition.
My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and supportive environment in which my clients can explore their emotions, build resilience, and ultimately live a happier and more fulfilling life. I believe that everyone has the capacity for change and growth, and I am honored to be able to guide my clients on their journey towards mental wellness.
