Our Wellness & Counseling Provider in the Greater Lansing & Grand Rapids Michigan

I’m a limited licensed professional counselor, and I believe that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships. I show up to therapy as an authentic person who genuinely cares, listens closely, and believes in creating a space where you don’t have to filter yourself. I view therapy as a shared journey, and I offer a down-to-earth therapeutic approach that is grounded in honesty and warmth. The space we create is truly yours, and my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, respect, and care.

Therapy with me is laid-back, yet intentional, and you won’t find any quick fixes or judgment here. Some sessions may feel deep and reflective, while others may be about simply getting through the day. I utilize a combination of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and a Person-Centered approach, which means we will focus on what is most central to you in your life. My goal is to create a genuine, secure oasis where we can explore past life experiences, roots of issues, identity, possible solutions, or anything else you deem essential to improving your life quality. I aim to tailor each session to your unique needs, empower you to move in the direction of your choosing, and meet you where you are—not where you “should” be.

Outside of sessions, I’m a big believer in slowing down, being present, and finding meaning in the little things. I enjoy activities related to the great outdoors, connecting with nature, listening to a variety of music (80’s hair bands are my fav), and spending time with my family and fur babies.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. My education provided a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, cultural sensitivity, and holistic client care, which continues to shape my work as a counselor. I am passionate about holding space for individuals of all walks of life to navigate the difficult, beautiful, or often complex aspects of being human, and providing a steady, supportive presence to explore what healing and growth can look like for you.

I understand the courage it takes to reach out for support, and you don’t have to have it all figured out to start. If you’re ready to begin or simply curious, I’d be honored to connect with you and start your journey!
