I believe that the therapeutic relationship allows the client to thrive and be themselves; however that may look for the individual. This belief is nurtured in an environment where clients can express themselves – they are heard and validated.

I use a multi-modal and philosophical approach to provide individuals seeking change the ability to strengthen what abilities they already possess, develop new skills and abilities, and utilize those abilities that an individual may not realize they already have.

Everyone can grow and move towards being their ideal self, even you! Too often, people listen to inaccurate and biased messages about themselves, which they believe to be fact. We will work together to help erase or modify these beliefs and create an accurate self. By working collaboratively and developing new action-oriented skills and solutions, you can learn how to process and move past experiences that cause them distress.

During individual therapy, we will build on skills and strengths to help you take action in your life and create solutions that work. I also help people repair and strengthen bonds with the important people in their lives as an integral component of the therapeutic process.

I assist clients in this by helping them develop, understand, and place boundaries; identify maladaptive behaviors and learn how to change them; and how too reconcile instances where there is no easy or clear-cut solution.
