My goal as a therapist is to create space for client empowerment and healing that considers the nuances of the human experience. While the things that have happened to us do not define us, our lived-experiences do shape our view of ourselves and the world around us significantly. I am dedicated to helping you explore the impact your personal experiences have had on your mental health while working toward establishing a tangible, personally curated path toward wellness. My strength-based approach to therapy centers you as the expert of your experiences and needs. I will work with you to help you explore yourself in ways that will allow you to understand your emotions, experiences, and personal values in a non-judgmental way. We will work together to develop treatment goals that focus on the values that you want to embody through a lens of self-compassion, emphasizing mindfulness and somatic skill development.

My values in the therapeutic space include recognizing intersectionalities, eliminating barriers to care, maintaining orientation toward justice for marginalized clients, and advocating for client well-being.

I am a neurodivergent, fat, queer, white, and cisgender woman with a history of religious trauma. My personal experiences have equipped me to work with clients experiencing trauma and stress related to fatphobia, homophobia, and religious trauma. As a white, cisgender, and able-bodied person, I aim to be an anti-racist ally to BIPOC individuals, an ally to transgender and gender-diverse individuals, and an anti-ableist ally to people with disabilities. I have experience working with transgender and gender-diverse clientele, providing therapeutic support in line with WPATH Standards of Care, and experience working with clients with disabilities.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Spring Arbor University in 2018 and my Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University in 2024.
