Who Am I?
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about creating a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are without pressure, judgment, or expectation to begin exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace.
I earned my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, and my approach blends evidence-based practices with a strong emphasis on authenticity and connection. For me, the relationship we build in therapy is just as important as the tools we use.
I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship concerns. I also have a special interest in supporting individuals impacted by adoption, as well as those who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.
At my core, I believe that you already have the capacity for growth and healing, sometimes you just need the right space and support to access it.
How I Help
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and centered on helping you build self-awareness. I see my role as both a supportive listener and an active guide, someone who can gently challenge patterns when needed while helping you better understand yourself and your experiences.
I draw from a range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centered therapy. This allows me to tailor our work together to your unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
