Who Am I?
I am a LLPC (Limited Licensed Professional Counselor). I have earned both a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Spring Arbor University. I completed my internship in a public school setting, and Spring Forest Counseling and Wellness.
Collaboration is key when it comes to the therapeutic process. I want to make my office a welcoming place for my clients to learn and grow. I work to empower my clients to identify their goals and work together to achieve them.
When not in the office, I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my three cats.
How I Help
My goal is to find the individualized approach that works best for each client. Counseling is a very personal process and I want to meet my clients where they are at that moment. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, combining different theoretical approaches and techniques from multiple theoretical orientations.
I will bring my authentic self to session and I hope my clients do too. Through several years of experience working in the education system, I have gained relevant awareness of the daily challenges that children and adolescents face. When working with minors, I collaborate with parents or guardians when necessary, while also ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the youth to feel comfortable sharing. I also have a passion for working with young adults trying to find their way.
