Who Am I?
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am passionate about helping children, teens, and women navigate life’s challenges in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. With 26 years of experience working with youth, including nine years in the counseling profession and a background in education, I understand the unique emotional and developmental needs individuals face at different stages of life.
I believe therapy should feel collaborative, compassionate, and empowering, and I strive to create an environment where every client feels valued, understood, and supported.
How I Help
I am Board Certified, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and ADHD Certified. My specialty areas include trauma, ADHD, emotional regulation, anxiety, behavioral concerns, self-esteem, and life transitions. I work primarily with children ages 5–18 and women of all ages, helping clients build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward healing and growth.
Because of my educational background, I am passionate about helping children and families navigate the educational system. I strive to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure each child’s needs are met in the educational environment.
I have a deep passion for empowering women in every stage of life, whether as mothers, daughters, caregivers, professionals, partners, or individuals rediscovering themselves.

Fun Fact
Outside of counseling, I enjoy crocheting, creative projects, and spending time listening to K-pop music, especially BTS, whose messages of resilience, self-love, and perseverance resonate deeply with me.
P.S. I am self-proclaimed to be Yoongi’s wife.

Favorite Resource
The Power of Validation: Arming Your Child Against Bullying, Peer Pressure, Addiction, Self-Harm, and Out-of-Control Emotions is one of my favorite resources for parents. It helps parents learn practical skills for validating their child’s feelings without condoning tantrums, selfishness, or out-of-control behavior. You’ll practice communicating with your child in ways that instantly impact his or her mood and help your child develop the essential self-validating skills that set the groundwork for confidence and self-esteem in adolescence and beyond.
