Jessica obtained her Master of Social Work degree, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from MSU. Jessica has extensive training and experience in working with survivors of trauma, especially with those who have experienced domestic or sexual violence.
Jessica is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. Jessica currently provides instruction to various social service providers across the state in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, secondary traumatic stress, and self-care for first responders. Jessica enjoys spending time with family, reading, being outdoors, and loves animals of all kinds.
