Who Am I?
Life can be full of challenges, transitions, and moments that feel overwhelming to navigate alone. Seeking support is a powerful step, and my goal as a counselor is to offer a warm, safe, and collaborative space where you feel both supported and empowered. Together, we can explore who you are, where you’ve been, and who you want to become at a pace that feels right for you.
As a queer, Korean American transracial adoptee, I bring both personal insight and professional dedication to working with adoptees and individuals within the LGBTQ+ community. I value culturally responsive and inclusive care, and I am deeply committed to supporting clients from marginalized backgrounds.
I earned my undergraduate degree from CMU and completed my graduate training at WMU, graduating in 2022. During my academic journey, I volunteered with Korean American cultural camps and co-facilitated a men’s group for incarcerated individuals. My research focused on understanding mental health barriers and systemic influences impacting marginalized individuals and communities, which continues to inform my clinical work today.
How I Help
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, meaning I meet you where you are and work alongside you to identify meaningful, individualized goals. I am passionate about supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, multicultural concerns, and relationship challenges. I strive to create an affirming environment where all parts of your identity are welcomed and respected.
If you’re looking for a therapist who offers compassionate, identity-affirming, and trauma-informed care, I would be honored to support you on your healing journey.
