Who Am I?
I believe therapy should be a welcoming space where individuals feel supported, empowered and truly heard. Life is ever-changing, and navigating its challenges can be overwhelming at times. What drew me to this work is my deep appreciation for genuine human connection—I truly enjoy building relationships and walking alongside others on their journey.
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Grand Valley State University in 2018, and then went on to get my Master’s degree of Social Work from Western Michigan University in 2021. While at WMU, I had the opportunity to obtain a certificate in Trauma Across the Lifespan. This certificate allowed me to focus my studies through a trauma-informed lens, something I have focused much of my practice on.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy going to concerts, checking out all of the local coffee shops GR has to offer, and spending time with my friends and family.
How I Help
Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to identify your goals and explore what healing and growth look like for you. My approach draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities, notably Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, interpersonal techniques, person-centered, and strengths-based practices. This allows me to tailor our work to your unique needs and experiences, helping you build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and foster lasting change in a supportive and compassionate environment. I am especially passionate about working with individuals who are having challenges with life transitions, depression, anxiety, stress management, and interpersonal relationships, as well as working with those within the LGBTQIA+ population.

Fun Fact
I’m a big animal lover. Currently, we have 4 cats and a dog, but throughout my life, I’ve owned a variety of pets such as chinchillas, rats, hermit crabs, hamsters, and a gecko. I’ve also previously volunteered at a local cat rescue (which is how I ended up with 4 cats).
