Who Am I?
I am a Limited Licensed MSW who places a strong emphasis on building an open and collaborative relationship with each client to develop trust and a good working relationship in the therapeutic setting. I find it crucial to recognize that each client is unique and the expert on their own life. In my practice, I utilize evidence-based practices that best fit each individual client based on their needs, strengths, and challenges.
I attended Michigan State University for the entirety of my college education, earning a Bachelor’s of Arts with a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice, as well as a Master’s of Clinical Social Work. I have experience in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) therapy, as well as working with anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, and transitions, among other issues.
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my loved ones, listen to music, read a good book, write, and watch horror movies.
How I Help
I believe that the best therapeutic work can be done when you truly connect with your therapist and feel that they have the capacity to understand you. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for effective treatment, as a sense of trust and comfort can greatly enhance the therapeutic process. As a result, I take a collaborative approach with my clients, which I find to be extremely beneficial and effective for all types of therapeutic work.
