Who Am I?
I am a dedicated and compassionate Limited License Professional Counselor (LLPC) who graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University and received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University. I completed my internship at a nonprofit organization while living in North Carolina, where I worked with kids and teenagers, along with their family members, in an intensive in-home setting. During this time, I encountered a range of cases, from those who suffered from acute traumas to those who had been experiencing trauma for years.
I am passionate about delivering high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents using evidence-based practices tailored to each child’s needs and strengths. I strive to show up as my authentic self and believe people thrive when they feel genuinely seen and heard. My dedication lies in creating a safe and supportive environment for kids and teens to explore and address their mental health concerns.
With a client-centered approach, I modify my interventions to meet the unique needs of each child or adolescent, fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship. My empathetic nature and commitment to ongoing professional development ensure that I stay informed about the latest advancements in the field.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends as well as relaxing with my two pups.
How I Help
My goal is for each child and teen to experience positive change, fueled by the transformative power of someone taking the time to engage in their world. I believe that every child and adolescent deserves a chance to heal, and I would be honored to walk with them along that journey.
